How to play Lagos Life
No download needed. Here is the path from first tap to first paycheque.
- Open it in a real browser. Go to lagoslife.app in Safari or Chrome. If you tapped a link inside Instagram, X or WhatsApp, use the menu to "Open in browser" first, because in-app browsers can block login.
- Create a free account. Choose a username, a password of at least 6 characters, and confirm you are 18+. Add an email so you can reset a forgotten password.
- Design your Sim. Pick a look, two personality traits and a lifetime dream, such as reaching the top of a career or building ₦1,000,000 net worth.
- Take the birth lottery. Once per account, the game decides if you start as a Nepo Baby with family money or a LAPO Baby with a small loan to repay. You cannot reroll.
- Choose where to live. LAPO Babies can pick a cheap room in Mushin, a self-contain in Yaba, or start as a UNILAG student in a hall of residence. Rent is deducted every Saturday.
- Get a job and show up. Apply for a career on your in-game phone and go to work on time for every shift. Pay and promotions depend on your performance.
Add it to your home screen. In your browser menu choose "Add to Home Screen" so it opens full screen like an app. This is a shortcut, not a store app.
